Bespoke Crematorium Furniture, Catafalques & Chapel Fit-Outs
Every crematorium and funeral parlour in Cambridge has specific requirements for its committal area and ceremony furniture. Oltec creates bespoke crematorium furniture, including fixed, movable and rise-and-fall catafalques tailored to the building and service arrangements. We can also specify made-to-order lecterns and readers, with options for wheelchair access and integrated audio-visual or curtain controls. Coordinating seating frontals, console tables and flower pedestal stands helps create a cohesive interior. Where appropriate, console tables can also be designed for smaller coffins during children's services. Whether you are updating an existing chapel or planning a new crematorium fit-out in Cambridge, our team considers both the ceremonial setting and the practical needs of staff and visitors.
Funeral Chapel Seating Design & Crematorium Seating Solutions
Comfortable, practical seating is central to a successful funeral chapel fit-out in Cambridge. Oltec FM works with funeral directors and crematorium teams to plan chair and pew layouts around ceremony capacity, coffin stand placement and unobstructed access, including space for bariatric coffins where required. Our seating choices range from modern upholstered chairs to rush-seated chairs and sofas, allowing the interior to reflect your preferred style. We can incorporate book holders and chair linkages where these improve the arrangement. Whether you need replacement seating or a complete crematorium seating redesign in Cambridge, we consider the needs of families, officiants and operational staff to create a welcoming environment.
Crematorium Reception, Family Rooms & Memorial Display Fit-Outs
Modernising crematorium facilities in Cambridge involves coordinating public spaces and behind-the-scenes working areas. Oltec provides interior fit-out solutions for reception desks, family waiting rooms, memorial displays and flower preparation facilities. We can specify supportive chairs for family rooms, alongside made-to-measure cabinets for memorial products and remembrance items. Flower rooms can be arranged with water access, preparation space and tiered shelving for floral arrangements. Bespoke memorial bookcases help present books of remembrance in a considered setting. Whether upgrading one room or planning a wider crematorium interior refurbishment in Cambridge, we consider visitor movement, staff access, storage and the individual requirements of each space to create a practical, welcoming environment.
