Bespoke Crematorium Furniture, Catafalques & Chapel Fit-Outs
Refurbishing a crematorium chapel in Ely calls for specialist furniture that supports respectful services and smooth daily operation. With over 40 years of experience, Oltec Facilities Management produces tailored designs for catafalques, lecterns, readers, console tables, seating frontals and flower stands. Catafalques may be fixed, depending on the space and how services are conducted. We can design wheelchair-friendly reading positions and incorporate suitable audio-visual and curtain control equipment into the furniture specification. Finishes and proportions are carefully selected to complement surrounding seating and committal areas. For crematoria and funeral directors in Ely, our bespoke approach allows individual items or a coordinated interior furniture package to be considered together.
Funeral Chapel Seating Design & Crematorium Seating Solutions
Comfortable, appropriately arranged seating is central to a successful funeral chapel fit-out in Ely. The Oltec Group supports funeral directors and crematorium teams to plan chair and pew layouts around ceremony capacity, coffin stand placement and unobstructed access, including space for bariatric coffins where required. Our seating choices range from traditional wooden pews to rush-seated chairs and sofas, allowing the interior to reflect your preferred style. We can incorporate book holders and chair linkages where these improve the arrangement. Whether you need replacement seating or a complete crematorium seating redesign in Ely, we consider the needs of families, officiants and operational staff to create a functional environment.
Crematorium Reception, Family Rooms & Memorial Display Fit-Outs
A successful crematorium fit-out in Ely must accommodate the way staff, funeral directors and visiting families use each room. Oltec designs practical reception areas, comfortable family rooms and specialist furniture for the wider crematorium interior. Family spaces can feature coordinated tables, while bespoke display cabinets provide a considered setting for memorial options. We also plan flower preparation rooms with suitable water access, work surfaces and tiered shelving for floral tributes. Dedicated memorial book rooms can incorporate purpose-made bookcases and display furniture. From busy public areas to quieter private spaces, our approach balances clear circulation with a respectful atmosphere. For crematorium refurbishment projects in Ely, we tailor each room to its purpose and the building's layout.
