Bespoke Crematorium Furniture, Catafalques & Chapel Fit-Outs
Refurbishing a crematorium chapel in Plymouth calls for specialist furniture that supports respectful services and smooth daily operation. With over 40 years of experience, Oltec provides tailored designs for catafalques, lecterns, readers, console tables, seating frontals and flower stands. Catafalques may be movable, depending on the space and how services are conducted. We can design wheelchair-friendly reading positions and incorporate suitable audio-visual and curtain control equipment into the furniture specification. Finishes and proportions are thoughtfully coordinated to complement surrounding seating and committal areas. For crematoria and funeral directors in Plymouth, our bespoke approach allows individual items or a coordinated interior furniture package to be considered together.
Funeral Chapel Seating Design & Crematorium Seating Solutions
Fitting out a chapel of rest or crematorium seating area in Plymouth? Oltec offers bespoke seating arrangements that bring together visitor comfort, accessibility and operational requirements. We assess the positioning of coffin stands, movement through the room and suitable routes for bariatric coffin access before recommending furniture layouts. Options can include wooden chairs, benches, rush seats and sofas, with coordinated finishes to suit the character of the premises. Where useful, chair linkages and book holders can form part of the specification. From a small chapel to a wider funeral home refurbishment in Plymouth, our seating designs are intended to support respectful ceremonies and efficient use of the available floor space.
Crematorium Reception, Family Rooms & Memorial Display Fit-Outs
From the first welcome at reception to private moments of remembrance, crematorium interiors in Plymouth should be thoughtfully designed. The Oltec Group assists operators to create functional reception areas, family rooms, memorial display spaces and dedicated flower preparation rooms.
